There are two ways in which to donate to CPAWS: monthly giving or an annual donation. No matter which method you choose, rest assured that your contribution will be used efficiently and with transparency.
CPAWS is one of the oldest and largest environmental protection organizations in Canada. Our 50 years of experience and the professionalism of our teams have been recognized by the Charity Intelligence ratings for the second consecutive year.
This independent ranking lists over 400 charities across Canada and assigns a score based on several criteria, including financial transparency, accountability to members and cost-effectiveness.
In 2014, SNAP received the highest ranking – 4 stars.
There are two advantages to monthly giving: $3 per month does not weigh heavily on the budget, while allowing CPAWS more flexibility. It is a given that the greatest threats usually arise unexpectedly, whether it be the oil pipeline at Cacouna, or the possibility of drilling right next to Gros Morne National Park; it was impossible to foresee that our teams would be forced to be so mobilized with regard to these issues! The monthly donations allow us to act on these issues: we have a better idea of how much money we can dedicate to emergencies and how to get better organized, because we know that we can count on these donations each month. A valuable asset to establish a budget.

This donation is good for one year and is a valuable way to help us in our mission. It can be an entry point for getting to know CPAWS: you will receive our publications and our electronic newsletters for one year, you will become familiar with our campaigns and our actions, and you will get to know our team and Board of Directors at our Annual General Meeting and our annual soirée. As a result of this first experience as members, donors often opt to donate monthly.
