Presentation: Nature conservation in Mexico:
Moving to a larger scale

Nature Needs Half is a global vision that is inspiring conservation around the world. In Mexico, it has led to a new level of interest. The presentation will focus on some of the most outstanding examples of how Mexico is aiming high for nature. Jaime Rojo, born and raised in Spain, is now a photographer and conservationist based in Mexico City. He was the executive director of WILD 9, the Ninth World Wilderness Congress.

For those who are not members of CPAWS but wish to attend the presentation, a voluntary donation would be appreciated.

Changes to our General Rules and Regulations
Over the past year, the Chapter’s board of directors updated the CPAWS Quebec by-laws. This is the first time these regulations have been revised since our chapter was created in 2001.  While many changes have been made, none of them will have a major effect on how our chapter is run. If participants at the Annual General Meeting recommend that these new rules and regulations be put in place, they will be submitted to CPAW’s National Board of Trustees.

Click on the following links for more information on the proposed changes to the by-laws (in French only).
